Date of examination: 05th May, 2013

Eligibility Criteria: In order to be eligible for admission to MBBS/BDS courses for a particular academic year, it shall be necessary for a candidate to obtain minimum of marks at 50% in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, held for the said academic year

However, in respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC, the minimum marks shall be at 40%

In respect of general candidates with locomotory disability of lower limbs, the minimum marks shall be at 45%

The percentile shall be determined on the basis of highest marks secured in All India common merit list in National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for admission to MBBS/BDS courses

Indian Nationals and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) are eligible for appearing in the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG)

Age Limit: He/She has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS course

The upper age limit for candidates seeking admission under 15% All India quota seats is 25 years as on 31st December of the year of the entrance examination

Further provided that this upper age limit shall be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for the candidates of SC/ST/OBC

Candidate must born on or between 01st January, 1984 to 01st January, 1997 (SC/ST/OBC category); and 01st January, 1989 to 01st January, 1997 (other category)

Admit Card: The CBSE will provide the facility of downloading admit cards of NEET examination on the Board’s website http://cbseneet.nic.in

Candidates are required to download the admit cards from the website and follow the instructions given therein

Candidate may please note that admit cards will not be sent by the post

The schedule of hosting of admit cards is as; applications without late fee 01st April, 2013; applications with late fee 10th April, 2013

HOW TO APPLY

How to apply: Candidates can apply for NEET (UG)-2013 only online

Information bulletin can be downloaded from the website www.cbseneet.nic.in

Online submission of application form may be made by accessing board website www.cbseneet.nic.in

The fee can be remitted by credit card/debit card; remittance through challan by deposit in CBSE bank account with Canara Bank or Syndicate Bank or e-Post Office

Fee without late fee from 01st December, 2012 to 31st December, 2012 Rs 1000/- for General/OBC; Rs 550/- for SC/ST/PH

Fee with late fee from 01st January, 2013 to 31st December, 2012 Rs 2000/- for General/OBC; Rs 1550/- for SC/ST/PH

Last date of receipt of confirmation page of application for in CBSE is 10th January, 2013 (without late fee); 05th February, 2013 (with late fee)

Application Form: Log on to website www.cbseneet.nic.in

Go to the link apply on-line and open the same

Read the instructions and procedure for on-line submission of application form carefully

At the end of this page, following three links to apply online are given

Fill in the on line application form Part-I and note down the registration number

Make payment of fee through debit/credit card or download challan for payment in the designated accounts of Canara Bank/Syndicate Bank/e-Post Office

Fill in the on line application form Part-II furnishing the details of fee deposited

Take print out of confirmation pages and send to CBSE along with copy of proof of fee deposited through challan, if fee deposited through challan mode

Open the first link, follow the instructions carefully and submit the information

At the end of this page, two links next and reset are given

If you are satisfied that filled in information is correct then click next otherwise reset

After opening next, information submitted can be checked and if information is correct, go for final submit otherwise go for back

After final submission of data, programme will automatically take you to second link for payment of fee

Follow the instructions and submit the fee

After successful submission of fee, programme will take you to third link to take print out of confirmation page

Follow the instructions to take the print out of confirmation page and address slip of the CBSE to be pasted on A5 (12”x10”) envelope for sending the complete application form to the CBSE

Kindly ensure that at least four copies of the confirmation page and one copy of the address slip may be got printed

Three copies of the confirmation page may be kept safely by the candidate for any future need

One copy of the confirmation page may be completed as per instructions for sending to the board

The photocopy of this confirmation page along with the proof of fee paid and the original receipt issued by the post office may also be kept safely by the candidate

All the three links for online submission of application form, payment of fee and to take print out of confirmation page can also be used separately

Even after the successful submission of online application form within due date, if the computer generated confirmation page is not received by the board on or before the last date or received without requisite fee, the application form of the candidate will be treated as cancelled

Candidates are well versed with the technology of online submission of application form and without any help they are capable in submission of application form online

In case, if any candidate is having any problem, such candidate may visit facilitation centre fixed by the CBSE in selected schools/institutions

The services of facilitation centres are free of cost and available only during working hours

Computer generated confirmation page of online application form is to be dispatched only by registered/speed post to the Assistant Secretary (NEET), Central Board of Secondary Education, Shiksha Kendra, 2, Community Centre, Preet Vihar, Delhi-110092
